One of the things I’m asked the most is how do I manage to eat so much food and keep the weight off. I thought it might be useful to have this page on my blog to give you an introduction to what I do to stay fit and healthy.

I’ve always loved the combination of training hard in the gym and those glorious cheat days! Without the gym aspect of what I do, I would probably be the size of a house! Earning cheat days is what it’s all about.

When it comes to training I’m always trying to change things up to keep my body guessing. As much as I love the gym, I find after a while it can be quite repepative and mind numbing. When I first started I used to spend hours in the gym but still see the same results after a high intensity workout of no more than 20/30 minutes.

Because of Jake’s Food Bible I try to mix up Weight Training with a lot of Cardio. I find the gym not a very motivating place for Cardio – staring at a mirror for 2 hours running on the spot doesn’t cut it for me.

I play Football 3 times a week with work colleagues (1x 11 aside game and 2x 8 aside games) and twice a week I play Racquetball/ Squash. This is so much more effective than jogging on a treadmill watching The Chase on a little screen – even if Bradley Walsh is a Comedy Genius!

So that’s what I do in a nutshell. I’ll be sharing some of my routines and top tips with you all on here very soon so stay tuned.
